William Cardina Obituary

William (Will) James Cardina, age 34, died by taking his own life, on February 16 in Dover, Ohio.

Will was born in Akron, Ohio, attended St Sebastian School and graduated from Archbishop Hoban High School in 2008. He then spent 2 years at Kent State University. Will loved music, and when asked what he did, he would always reply with, “I play guitar.”  

Will was known as an old soul and was instantly loved by everyone he met. He worked hard at everything he did and would always pride himself in a job well done. He will be remembered for his love of music, his passion for creativity, and his boundless capacity to feel everything deeply. 

Will is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Frank & Kathleen Cardina, maternal grandparents, Dean & Ellen Roush, Aunt Sharon Roush, Uncle Art Roush, cousins Shannon Roush and Michael Keefe. 

Will is survived by his loving parents, Bill & Beth Cardina, sister, Isabella Cardina, his girlfriend Hannah, his faithful dog, Luna, his Uncle Lyle Roush (Mary Lee), Aunt Lois Keefe (Marty), Aunt Martha (Doug) Shaw, Aunt Mary Glass (Robert) and many cousins & friends who will miss him dearly.

Calling hours will be held Friday February 21 from 4:00pm – 7:00pm at Ciriello and Carr Funeral Home, 39 S. Miller Rd. Fairlawn, OH 44333.

Funeral Mass will be Saturday February 22 at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 476 Mull Ave. Akron, OH 44320 beginning at 11:00am with interment following at Holy Cross Cemetery.
