Valcie Walter Stone

Valcie Walter “Bud” Stone passed away on April 4,2025 at home surrounded by family. 

He was born in Akron, Ohio on April 12,1936.  He was the first child of Valcie Sr and Marian  Stone.  He is preceded in death by his son Jason in 1990 and granddaughter, Candace in 2011. 

He is survived by his wife Nancy and daughters Valann and Vickie (John); five grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren; a brother and 2 sisters.

He grew up in Akron and graduated from Central High School.  He married his high school sweetheart, Nancy Carr.   After a successful career at BF Goodrich he became a volunteer at organizations including The Red Cross and Western Reserve Hospital.

Calling hours Friday, April 11, 2025, from 11am - 1pm at Ciriello & Carr Funeral Home, 810 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Redeemer Lutheran School in honor of son Jason.
