Tammy L. DeLong

Tammy L. DeLong, 66 Died unexpectedly December 11, 2024.

Tammy was born in Canton, Ohio and proudly raised in Perry Township, Ohio.

She very much-loved baseball specifically Cleveland baseball, she studied music (the clarinet) and was a proud marching band member at Perry High School, she graduated in 1978 and Majored in Music Education at the University of Akron ending up with an Associated Degree in Executive Secretarial studies in 1983. She ended her work career as a Credentialing Specialist for Medical Mutual last summer.

Tammy was preceded by our three “Children” Joanie, Tippie and our beloved Gracie Ellen, Her Parents Dale Delong and Mary L DeLong (Stevens), Her Sisters Judith Ann Stevens, and Martha Belle Shaffer (DeLong).

She is survived by her Partner in Crime of 40+ years Robert A Guyer, Sister-in-law Sr. Maria Cordis Guyer, Brother and Sister in law John W and Frances Guyer, Sister in law Bonne D Moss, & Brother and Sister in law Matthew and Susan Guyer, Nieces and Nephews Sarah (Ed) Ludington, John B (Trisha) Guyer, Rachel (Marlon) Machado, Jordan Moss, Michael Miller, and Abby Guyer. Great Nieces and Nephews; Johnathan, William, Elora Ludington and Jillian Guyer. Our Girl Carly Cassidy (Troy), Many Cousins on the DeLong & Stevens sides of the Family, and close Dear Friends Ronee and Frank Cassidy, Diane Peloso and Our sweet Cousin Marianne Stilson.

Tammy’s pride and joy besides watching Cleveland baseball, was always gathering with her former classmates from the Perry alumni, bandmates from the U of A marching Band alumni and getting to meet and gather with some of my cousins when we were able to have family reunions.

She loved family especially our combined families.

She has rejoined her two elder Sisters and Parents and our three “Pet Children”, she would wish for us to always be at peace and filled with love.
