Susan Elizabeth Markoff

SUSAN ELIZABETH MARKOFF, 61, passed away peacefully on October 4th, 2023, after a long illness. Sue was born on June 8th, 1962, in Akron, Ohio. She was a 1980 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School, and a lifetime Falls resident. She grew up working at her family restaurant, Mike’s Northlight. Sue also worked at Twin Valu and 17 years in management at Marc Glassman Inc. 

With a broad collection of recipes, Sue enjoyed cooking and baking for friends and family. She loved Harley Davidsons and Indians baseball. Classic rock was her favorite genre and she remembered countless song lyrics. She had a terrific sense of humor, loved animals and used to feed local squirrels by hand. 

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Gertrude Markoff; husband, Nicholas E. Witcraft, and longtime partner, Fred Haddad. She leaves behind her son, Nicholas Witcraft; brother, Michael (Lisa) Markoff; nieces and nephews, Michael, Claudia, Alexander, Paulina and many extended family members and friends. 

Guests are welcome for visitation from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at Ciriello & Carr Funeral Home, 810 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga
