Susan L. Langbein, 79, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Niagara Falls, New York, to the late Randall and Anna (Payne) Reynolds.
Anyone who knew Sue knew that family meant everything to her. She cherished her role as a mother, was endlessly proud of her grandchildren, and took immense joy in being a great-grandmother.
Among her proudest personal achievements was her 35-year journey of continuous sobriety—a true testament to her strength, courage, and resilience, and an inspiration to all who loved her. When she wasn't spending time with her family or active in her recovery community, Sue could be found passionately cheering on her favorite sports teams, especially her beloved Cleveland Guardians, never missing a chance to vocalize her support.
Along with her parents she is proceeded in death by the love of her life and partner in crime Paul Jr. She is survived by her loving children, Todd (Tracey), Jenn (Rick), and Dawn (Stan); her grandchildren, Megan (Tyler), Ricky (Elle), Zach (Taylor), Sean, and Nick (Gianna); her great-grandchildren, Avery and Luke; and her beloved sister, Carolyn.
Her loving family will receive visitors on Sunday, August 2, 2026, from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm at Ciriello & Carr Funeral Home, 810 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. A memorial service will begin at 5:00 pm. A private interment will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
