Sister Philomena Cook, the former Frances Lucille Cook, 85, died on Monday, November 23, 2020. She was buried in a private service on December 2, 2020, at Akron Holy Cross Cemetery.
On Thursday, June 24, 2021, we will celebrate her life with a Memorial Mass in the Chapel at Our Lady of the Elms Motherhouse, 1230 West Market Street, Akron, at 4:30 PM. Due to caution concerning Covid, we ask that guests be fully vaccinated or wear masks when attending the Mass.
