Sherri (Yeager) Disantis

Sherri Disantis, age 58, passed away peacefully after a short illness on September 29,2021.

Sherri was born in Akron, Ohio and resided in Cuyahoga Falls for the past 38 years. She graduated from Stow-Munroe Falls High School in 1981 and the Idabelle Firestone School of Nursing in 1984. She worked as a NICU nurse for Summa and Akron Children’s Hospital for the past 37 years and touched many lives.

She will be remembered for her passion for caring for others, her generosity, and most of all her love, devotion, and loyalty to her family and friends. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Janice Yeager. 

She is survived by her adoring husband of 38 years, Joseph Disantis; sons, Joseph (Amy), Steven, Jonathan (Kayla), and Nicholas (Tanya); grandson, Joey whom she adored; sister. Michelle Guagliardo (David); and brother, Robert Yeager; mother-in-law, Kathy Disantis; nieces, nephews, cousins, countless friends and best friend Anne Bryson. 

Special thanks to the ICU staff at Western Reserve Hospital for their care and compassion. Sherri will be missed by many. 

No services will be held. There will be a private celebration of life to be determined at a later date.
