Ruth Rose Nauer, 90 entered eternal life on the wings of angels, Friday October 1, 2021. Her beloved nieces and nephews surrounded her with love during her brief time in Hospice care
Ruth’s passing marks the final member of the Nauer legacy. She was the daughter of the late John and Nellie Crumm. sister of Earlene,Paul,Dorothy,Gerald,Richard,Donald and Edward. Ruth loved her extended family with passion and love. Her laughter and impish smile will be missed by her many nieces and nephews.
Ruth’s life was truly an example of service to others. Her career as an elementary school teacher in Akron and Cleveland touched the lives of many children. Ruth was dedicated to her faith. She served her church and parish families with love and compassion in many capacities. She lived her faith. “As for me and my house,I shall serve the Lord.”This passage from Joshua 24:15 exemplifies Ruth’s devotion to her family. Love brought her home, where she cared for her family, specifically her mother and brother, Ed for many years.
As the last sibling, Ruth joins her brothers and sisters who delighted in her love of life. Ruth leaves her many nieces and nephews. She truly enriched their lives with genuine love. We in return loved her.
Ruth’s final years were spent at Chapel Hill Community where she had the support of both her family and staff to care for her. The births of great nieces and nephews, home grown blueberries and cucumbers and the occasional peanut brittle treat made life complete.
