Ronald M. Migden

Ronald M. Migden, 82, passed away on May 6, 2026. He was born in Akron, Ohio, and graduated from Archbishop Hoban High School in 1963. He worked for O’Neil’s department store for 25 years before retiring in sales. He lived in the Akron area for the majority of his life before moving to Town and Country, MO in 2023.

Ron (Ronnie) will be remembered for his devotion to his family, sense of humor and love for music and movies. He was affectionately known as Grandpa and Papa to his beloved grandchildren.

Ron is preceded in death by his parents William and Mary Migden and brother Gary Migden as well as his beloved family pets Barkley, Remi, Reily, Scout and Louie. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Catherine Migden, children Amanda (Brad) Mills, Jeremy (Margaux) Migden, Joshua (Jermarie) Migden, grandchildren Madelyn, Franklin, Lauren, Brooke, Winston, Maxwell, Noelle and Silas, brother Joseph Migden, many nieces and nephews, and many beloved friends.

Calling hours will be Friday, May 15, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00pm at Ciriello and Carr Funeral Home, 810 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls. Funeral services will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary, 1905 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 10:00am. Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery will follow.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday May 16 beginning 4:00pm at Crave, 156 S. Main St. Akron, OH 44308.
