Roger Lee Howell October 4, 1944 — June 1, 2024, Wadmalaw Island, South Carolina Roger Lee Howell, 79, of Wadmalaw Island, South Carolina, passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 1, 2024. Roger was born October 4, 1944, in Morgantown, West Virginia, son of the late Esther (Feather) Howell and Wayne Howell. Roger attended both Boston Heights and Woodridge High Schools in Ohio and worked as a carpenter in the Local 639 Union of Akron, OH and the Local 435 Union of Cleveland, OH. He was an active member and advocate for the Paradise Club of Cuyahoga Falls, OH and the Arid Club of Akron, OH. In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his brother, Phillip Howell; and sons, Michael and William. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Donna Marie Sondles Howell; sons, Kenneth Howell of Wadmalaw Island, SC and Roger Howell II of Wadmalaw Island, SC; daughters, Laura (Howell) Gibson of Cuyahoga Falls, OH and Stephanie (Howell) Greer of Greenwood, SC; grandchildren, Lena Hammock, Michael Gibson, Tyler Gibson, Destiny Greer, Arabella Greer, and Christian Greer; great-grandchildren, Jake Gibson, Fynn Gibson, Nalani Gibson; brother, John Howell of Beloit, OH; and sister, Emma (Howell) Wear of Cuyahoga Falls, OH. 

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 7, 2024, in the Ciriello and Carr Funeral Home at 12:00 pm where friends may call one hour before the service. Interment following at Oakwood Cemetery in Cuyahoga Falls, OH.
