Roger Glenn Greathouse

Roger Glenn Greathouse, aged 64, passed away peacefully at Summa Hospice after a battle with bile-duct cancer. Roger was born in Barberton, Ohio on the 16th of September 1957. He graduated from Coventry High School and received a Bachelor’s and MBA from the University of Akron. He was an active member and usher of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and the Knights of Columbus. His career was spent at Ohio Brass, Danner Press, Steere Enterprises, Alcoa, and more recently in retirement, he worked as a Tax Preparer at H&R Block.

Roger will be remembered for his genuine kindness towards others, selfless attitude, and undying support of talented, but generally unsuccessful, local sports teams.

His death was preceded by his parents, Marie and Frank Greathouse. He is survived by his siblings, (Kathy, Lisa, Gary & Laura); his awesome wife, (Agnes); his son and daughter, (Sub & Jessica); his children-in-law, (Cynthia and Thomas); along with 4 grandchildren, (Brittaney, Justin, Teagan & Ronan), and many cousins and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12p.m. Monday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 1905 Portage Tr in Cuyahoga Falls, where friends may call 11a.m. until Mass time. Interment at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
