Robert C. Makin was taken to heaven on October 4, 2021. He is reunited with Nancy Makin, his adoring wife of 44 years.
He was born in Akron, Ohio to Kenneth and Janis Makin. A graduate of Buchtel High School 1964, he proudly served in the US Navy from 1966 until 1971.
Robert is survived by his 3 loving children, Lora Cutting (Paul), Debby L. Donahue, Joseph F. Makin; six grandchildren, Jessica Thomas, Paul Cutting (Cynthia), Destiny Cutting, Jacob Dempsie (Angel), Robert Makin, Allie Makin; three great-grandchildren, Paul, Liam, and Dean.
Bob will be remembered as a one of a kind soul who never hesitated to help a friend in need.
Funeral services will be held Oct. 11th, 1p.m. at Ciriello and Carr Funeral Home, 810 Portage Tr. in Cuyahoga Falls, where friends may call 12-1p.m. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
