Robert Dumchus Sr., 73, of Fairlawn, Ohio, passed away on May 17th, 2026 surrounded by the love of his family.
Bob dedicated his life to the restaurant industry, where his strong work ethic, leadership, and commitment to service made a lasting impact on everyone he worked with and served. Over the course of his career, he proudly owned and operated his own business for 20 years, building something meaningful through determination, resilience, and care for both his employees and customers. He was known for his reliability, sense of humor, and the pride he took in his work.
Outside of his career, Bob had a true passion for music. He especially loved the band Chicago, whose songs often served as the soundtrack to many meaningful moments in his life. He was also a devoted Cleveland sports fan, proudly cheering on his teams through every high and low, never wavering in his loyalty.
Above all, Bob was a devoted family man. He is lovingly remembered by his three children: Marlena (Jay) Monia, Robert Jr. (Jessica) Dumchus, and Kalynn (Adam) Muha. He was also a loving grandfather to ten beloved grandchildren: Rian, Jayden, Maddox, Devon, Baner, Harper, Shai, Atlee, Averi, and Camryn, each of whom brought him immense pride and happiness.
Bob will be remembered for his steady presence, his love of music and sports, and the deep care he showed to his family. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
