Raymond L. Heuser

May 16, 1947 ~ September 25, 2021 (age 74)

Raymond L. Heuser (74) unexpectedly but peacefully passed away at his home September 25, 2021.

Ray was born in Akron, Ohio and lived most of his life in Cuyahoga Falls. He graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School and was proud to serve in the United States Navy during the Vietnam era. After an honorable discharge from the service, he worked as a master machinist, mostly for Campbell Machine until his retirement. Ray was a lifelong member of a number of organizations, including the VFW and the Cuyahoga Falls Eagles Club, serving as past president and trustee. He formed many strong friendships there and will be greatly missed.

Ray will be remembered as a man of integrity, having a warm ”live for the day” personality with a ready laugh, and especially for his big heart. Ray generously provided a home for a number of people over the years. He was a patriot to the end who loved his country, riding his motorcycle, playing golf, and the Cleveland Browns.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Mildred Heuser. He is survived by his brothers, Floyd (Diane) Heuser of Tallmadge, Gary (Carol) Heuser of Columbus; sister, Barb (Dale) Chapman of Stow, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

There will be a military service at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd., Seville, OH 44273 at 10:30a.m. on Monday November 15, 2021.
