Ramen Tomaneng, age 41, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday July 11, 2021.
Ray was born and raised in Chicago, IL. He was a graduate of North Park University with a BSN in Nursing. Ray received his MSN and was currently employed at University Hospitals of Cleveland in Quality Improvement.
Ray married Mia Mary Wood on August 2, 2014. They have three children,
Alani Lynn (9), Axel Robert (5) and Axton Corey (2). Those who were close to Ray knew that he wanted nothing more than the best for his children and loved his family fiercely. The most important thing to Ray was being a good husband and father. Ray is loved and survived by his parents, Raul and Carmen Tomaneng. He was an amazing brother to Norman, and to his sister, Carol Tomaneng. He was a fun uncle to Camille Brokloff, Jacob Brokloff, Jack Brokloff, Claire Brokloff, Jimmy Davis, Elise Krein, Audric Wertz, Eden Wertz, Nolan Wertz and Barrett Wertz.
Ray was a die hard Chicago sports' fan and an avid marathoner who ran the Chicago Marathon 11 times. He will also be loved and missed by his Chicago family and extensive group of friends.
He loved to go to concerts and listen to alternative music. He was the life of the party and always made everyone have fun! You could count on Ray to break out the Jameson to get he party started.
