Paula Ann Kirgesner (Calkins-Delerosa)

Paula Ann Kirgesner (Calkins-Delerosa), 75, of Cuyahoga Falls passed away on February 4th, 2025. Paula was born on March 19th, 1949, to Irene (Cleak) and Jack Kirgesner. She grew up in Cuyahoga Falls with her sister, Pam, and graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1967.

Paula worked for General Tire until her retirement in 1989. Paula was very proud of her work as a Senior Angel for Chemo Angels for over 20 years and her involvement in numerous animal non-profits. She loved all animals and passed that love on to her only granddaughter. She was an avid sports fan and never missed a chance to talk sports with her grandsons. Paula was a huge influence to all that knew her. Her favorite words “always be honest, always be kind” live forever in the minds of her family and friends. She would brighten every room with her beautiful smile and loving personality.

Paula is survived by her sister Pam (John) Giles, her loving daughter and son-in-law, Tracy and Jim Burgbacher, her wonderful grandchildren David (Amanda), Jonathon (Michele), Brittany, Kevin (Amber), Glen, Jordan (Becca), Jacob (Hannah), 16 beautiful great grandchildren and beloved family and friends including Jody (John) Monte and Kathleen (Bob) Miske.

A celebration of life will be held on a later date.
