Pamela Jane (Dawson) Stanley

Pamela “Jane” Stanley, 83, died on August 1, 2026.

Born in Akron on April 30,1943, Jane graduated from St. Mary’s.  Shortly after high school, she met Art and formed a bond that would last through 62 years of marriage although “the contract” was for 100 years.  She was a waitress by trade and last worked at Papa Joe’s in Bath for 32 years, until their closing.  Her follow up career, as a Nanny for Hannah Fleming, brought her much joy! 

Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur & Mary Dawson, Brother’s John & Tom  Dawson, Sister’s Nancy Paul & Claire Lewellyn.  

She is survived by her most loving husband, Art, her brother Danny Dawson, her children, Mary Stanley, Cyndi Kane (Michael), Joe Stanley (Christen), Michael Stanley (Amanda), her grandchildren Nathan, Caleb, Brayden & Liam.  Her honorary daughter and grand daughter, Kim & Hannah Fleming.

Friends and family will receive visitors at Ciriello & Carr Falls Chapel, 810 Portage Trail, Cuyahgoa Falls, OH on Friday, August 7th, 2026 from 3:30pm – 6:30pm. A mass of Christian burial will be on Saturday, August 8th, 2026 at 10:00 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 1905 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.

Interment following at Chestnut Hill Cemetery. A procession will form at the church.
