Olga Dattilo (ageless), passed away on June 29th of natural causes.
She was born in Akron, Ohio to Thomas N. Geracioti, MD and Anna Geracioti. She attended St. Martha elementary and North High School. She graduated from Ashland College and also from the University of Naples L ’Orientale in Naples, Italy. Other than her time in Italy, she lived in the Akron area her entire life. She spent many years as teacher in both public and parochial schools. She last taught at St Vincent Elementary School in Akron. She was an avid reader who finished an average length book every week. She was a renaissance woman who was interested in everything from politics, history, investments, business operations to music and art and was devoted to her family cheering their every accomplishment. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Vincent Dattilo, MD; her parents; and her brothers, Aldo Geracioti and Thomas D. Geracioti Sr., MD. She is survived by her sister, Elsa Dattilo of Rome Italy; her sons, Joseph (Linda) Dattilo, Thomas (Jesse) Dattilo, Robert (Lynn) Dattilo. Her seven grandchildren, Stephanie, Christina, Claudia, Alexandra, Vincent, Zachary, and Jacob and 5 great-grandchildren, Olivia, Mitchell, Domonic, Mae and Madeline and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Private services will be held at a later date.
