Norbert F. Schlosser passed away peacefully July 26, 2022 at home with his family by his side.
He was born October 14, 1924 in Akron, Ohio and was a lifelong resident of Akron and Cuyahoga Falls. Norbert is a WWII Army veteran and served in the China, Burmia, India Theatre. He retired from Ohio Edison in 1987 with 43 years of service. He was an active member of St. Eugene Church for many years. He also enjoyed bowling, golf, and many annual trips with the CBI group.
He will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his kind, caring and gentle manner. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it.
Preceded in death by his wife, Norma; his parents, Joseph and Julianna Schlosser; his brothers, Steve, Joe, Ivan, George, Bernard, Richard; sisters, Barbara Schlosser, MaryAnn Ward and Rose Mencer.
Survived by his brother, Abbot Leo Schlosser; son, Mark (Shari) Schlosser; daughters, Fran (Larry) McKeown, Paula (David) Stuhldreher; 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial 11a.m. Thursday, Aug. 4th at St. Eugene Catholic Church, followed by interment, 1p.m., at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
