Nancy was born in Canton, Ohio and graduated from Canton Lincoln High School. She was a member of St. Hilary Catholic Church in Fairlawn, Sons of Italy, and the Ben V. Marconi Lodge. From a young age, Nancy acquired a love of music, playing the piano and dancing to the sounds of the Big Band era. Nancy truly loved the joy of baking, creating a multitude of different cookies, especially at Christmas. She loved nothing more than a kitchen full of family for a Rigatoni dinner.

In her later years she decided working was fun and enjoyed 24 years at Macy’s, Summit Mall, where she retired in February of 2018 as the oldest employee at the age of 85.

Visitation will be held from 10:30 – 11:30 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 11:30am at St. Hilary Catholic Church, 2750 W. Market St. Fairlawn, OH 44333 on Monday, July 25. A family interment at Calvary Cemetery, Massillon, Ohio will follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Village of St. Edwards (3131 Smith Road, Fairlawn, Ohio 44333) whose staff and nurses are most appreciated for all the wonderful attention and dedication they provided to Nancy and to our community as well.
