Michaelene (Micki) Thomas

After a courageous battle with cancer Michaelene (Micki) Thomas passed away peacefully on August 31, 2021.  Born in Akron. Ohio on June 6, 1951 to her proud parents, Michael and June Eisele. She was a life long resident of the Akron area.

Micki graduated from Green High School in 1969. She was a long time employee of the City of Fairlawn and Treasurer of Paws and Prayers in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.

Micki was married to Joseph S. (Joe) Thomas in 1989 and especially enjoyed camping, boating and fishing with Joe, the love of her life. She also enjoyed decorating her beautiful home and doing crafts.

She was predeceased in death by her husband, Joe; her father, Michael Eisele; her mother, June Roller; her step-father, William Roller, and her sister, Carol Zastudil.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Kristopher (Amber) Auer; her niece, Wendy Sams; her nephew, Eric Hoffman; her brother-in-law, James (Irene) Thomas; her sister-in-law, Mary (Darrell) Campbell; her sister-in-law, Linda (Joe) Gingo as well as many other loving relatives, close friends and her beloved dog, Sony.

Special thanks to her close friends, Ruth Talbot, Ellen Wittman and Chris Kennedy who helped her during her time of need.

Calling hours will be at the Ciriello & Carr Funeral Home, 39 S. Miller Road, Fairlawn, Ohio from 3pm to 5pm on Wednesday, September 8 immediately followed by services. Private interment will be at Northlawn Memorial Gardens, Peninsula, Ohio.
