Maureen Sullivan

Maureen Sullivan, 75, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2022 with her family by her side. Maureen graduated from Our Lady of the Elms and the University of Akron. She retired from the Summit County Juvenile Court System after 20 years of dedicated service. She always said “I love my job!”

Her 2 nephews, Mark and Matthew, and 2 nieces, Megan and Maureen, were so special to her. She always remembered them with cards and special treats. She was so proud of them. She also had 2 grandnephews (Jackson and Miles) and 5 grandnieces (Riley, Maeve, Maelin, Reese and McKenleigh) She loved them dearly. She was always excited to hear about their activities and adventures.

Maureen loved her Irish Heritage and always celebrated St. Patrick's Day in style. She also enjoyed going to the Weathervane Theater with her 2 special friends, Dawn and Candy.

Her parents, Eileen and Mark Sullivan, preceded her in death. She is survived by brothers, Mark (Joan) Brian, and Chris (Paul); nephews, Mark (Shannon), Matthew (Christina); nieces, Megan (Michael) and Maureen (Bill). She was the Matriarch of our family and always stayed in contact with her many cousins in many States.

Special thanks to the wonderful nurses at Summa Palliative Care Unit. They showed such care and compassion to Maureen and our family.

Per Maureen's request there will be no calling hours. A private burial is planned.
