Lynda Doreen Cafarelli

Lynda Doreen Cafarelli died on January 12, 2022 after a seven and a half year battle with Multiple Myeloma. She was born September 15, 1949 to parents, Domenic and Martha Cafarelli.

Lynda attended St. Paul's Catholic School in Akron and Akron Garfield High School. She graduated from the University of Akron with a degree in elementary education. Lynda went on to teach at St. William's Catholic School in Euclid for 34 years and at St. Jerome's in Cleveland for 7 years.

Preceded in death by her parents, all of her aunts and uncles; her cousins, Flora Talarico, Frank and Gerald Deangelis; her best friend, Sister Jeanette Kearns, O.S.U.; and her two dogs, Pebbles and Wilma. She leaves behind her brother, Fred Cafarelli (Anne); her nephews, John Cafarelli (Melissa) and James Cafarelli (Jennifer), and her niece, Mary Cafarelli.

Her Funeral Mass will be at St. Paul's Catholic Church at 1580 Brown St. in Akron Monday at 11a.m., friends and family may call from 10-11a.m. at the Church. Interment at Greenlawn Cemetery.

The family would like to thank Dr. Brenda Cooper at Seidman Cancer Center and Jennings Center in Garfield Heights for their compassionate care.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lynda's name to the Cleveland Animal Protective League or St. Paul's Catholic Church.
