Linda L. Churchman

Linda L. Churchman (nee Wolf) ascended to heaven on February 22, 2025.  Her passing was unexpected, but she was ready to be reunited with her love, Larry.

Linda loved her family fiercely.  If she wasn't spending time with her children and grandchildren, she was volunteering at Akron Children's Hospital.  She spent countless hours over more than 50 years raising money for the children.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Larry; her parents, Elmer and Evelyn Wolf; her older sister, Barbara Franks; and her cousin and best friend, Marilyn Plazo.

Linda is survived by her son, Lance (Jackie); her daughter, Lori Popa; her grandchildren, Zachary Popa, and Hunter and Savannah Churchman; and all of her friends and fellow volunteers in Friends of Children's Hospital. 

A Celebration of Linda's Life will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at the home of Lance and Jackie, 1103 Greenwood Ct., Medina, from 1 to 5. 

Memorials may be made in Linda's name to the Showers Family Center for Childhood Cancer, Akron Children's Hospital, One Perkins Square, Akron, Ohio 44308, a place near and dear to her heart.
