Lawrence Booker (Larry) Obituary

Lawrence Neal Booker (Larry), age 66, passed away at home in Tallmadge, Ohio on August 27, 2021.  Larry will be deeply missed by his wife of 44 years, Fran; son, Mark (Chrissie); grandchildren, Nathan, Brady, Kathryn, Ella and Isaiah; sister, Beverly, and brother-in-law and special friend, Kenny Boltz; sister, Mary Ann (Joe) Marchese, brother Ric (Renee); and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Neal and Betty; his brothers, William and Bob; his special niece, Sara Boltz; and his dear son, Bill.

Born in Akron, he was raised in Cuyahoga Falls.  He graduated from Revere High School in 1973.  After working in medical sales, he graduated from St. Thomas School of Nursing and worked as a registered nurse until he retired. 

He will be lovingly remembered for his sense of humor and his generosity.  He was a devoted fan of the Browns and the Indians.  He was at his happiest when he was hunting, fishing, doing yard work, and being with friends and family.  He was so proud of his grandchildren. 

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 1st from 10 to 11 a.m. at Saint Eugene Catholic Church, 1821 Munroe Falls Avenue, Cuyahoga Falls. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m.
