Laura A. Zeno

Laura A. Zeno (Yost), 69, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2025, after an illness with cancer that started earlier this year.

Laura was born on April 17, 1956, in Akron, OH to Charles and Barbara Yost. She was a life-long Akron native graduating from Firestone High School and received a degree from the University of Akron. She continued to reside in the area where she raised her family. She retired from Signet Jewelers in 2021 after 30 years with the company.

She is survived by her sons; Ryan (Annie) Zeno, Eric Zeno; sisters, Linda Dixon (Rick), Cathy (Danny) Kaltenbach, Cindy Hudock; granddaughter Callihan Zeno; nephews Charlie and Alex Hudock; Aunt and Uncle Venetta and Tom Yost; partner John Leonard, and many beloved friends.

Laura enjoyed attending her son’s sporting events growing up and throughout high school. She also enjoyed being involved with many different volunteer groups such as TWIGS, American Cancer Society, and Stan Hywet Hall. Laura and her sisters remained close throughout their lives, always having fun, enjoying their time together, and looked forward to their yearly vacations. In retirement, Laura loved spending time with family, socializing with friends, and making memories with John as they traveled to many adventurous places.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, October 26th from 2-5pm at Ciriello and Carr Funeral Home located at 39 South Miller Rd, Fairlawn, OH 44333. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 27th at 11am at St. Sebastian Catholic Church located at 476 Mull Ave, Akron, OH 44320. Inurnment to follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
