Taken too soon.
Kathy Dee Kalbach, 70, passed away on February 25, 2023, surrounded by loved ones at her Cuyahoga Falls home.
She was born to Harold and Betty Sanders, June 11th,1952, in Akron, Ohio.
She married Dave Kalbach in 1973 and they were inseparable for their 49 years of marriage. Kathy is survived by her husband, three children (Michael, Kristin, David); her brother, Thomas Sanders (his wife Connie and their sons Robert and David); three grandchildren Tyler, Hunter, and Ivy; sister-in-law, Anna Chapman; niece, Rachel.
Kathy was predeceased by her much loved nephew, Bart Sanders.
Kathy loved music, boating, and spending time with family and friends. She retired from Macy's department store and volunteered at the VFW until her health precluded her. She will be missed by all who loved and cared for her.
A memorial service will be held 11a.m. Thursday, March 2, 2023 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
A celebration of life will be held at the VFW #1062 on August 25th, 2023. In lieu of flowers, she would have liked donations to be made to the VFW.
