Judith Marie Kovach

Judith Marie Kovach, age 74, of Cuyahoga falls, Ohio, Passed away on November 17, 2024.

Judith was born in Akron, Ohio to Stephen Kovach and Betty Lou Clawson (Kovach).
She attended St Mary’s High school and graduated with the class of 1968. Judy
pursued higher education at Akron general school of nursing, where she earned a
nursing degree. She dedicated her career to Akron General Hospital working primarily
in the ER department before being promoted to supervisor. A lifelong learner with
diverse interests, Judy cherished reading and spending time with her family and friends.

Her favorite travel experience was in Ireland, where she enjoyed the
countryside's scenic beauty. She loved the outdoors and walking through the gardens at
Stan Hewitt during her retirement, where she also volunteered.

Judy is survived by her sister Barbara Berkowitz and brother-in-law Jay
Berkowitz; her brother Michael Kovach and sister-in-law Dawn Kovach; her brother-in-
law John Heffernan; her niece Megan Heffernan; and two nephews, David Heffernan
and Joshua Kovach.

Judy will be deeply missed and loved by her family and dear friends. She will be
fondly remembered as a caring nurse, loving sister, aunt and great friend.

A private graveside service will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery.
