Judith Ann Casto, 73, passed away peacefully on June 15th 2023.
Born in Akron Ohio, she was a lifelong resident of Akron who attended Garfield High School. As a young lady Judy was an accomplished bowler. As a young adult her passion to help others and work with people lead her to a career in Medical Office Management. Judy retired from Akron General Hospital in 2013 after 24 years as an award winning Office Manager of West Side Family Practice.
Judy will be remembered for her true free spirit, devotion to her family, an amazing sense of humor, an incredible attitude and approach to life, and love for her favorite Ohio sports teams.
Preceded in death by son, James (Jimmy) Soccorsi in 2007
She is survived by husband, David Horner; son, Jonathan (Claudia) Davis; sisters, Janis (Dick) Corbin, Susie Misanko (Jeff Cappo); brother, Mike Casto (Cristine Kraker); 3 Grandchildren, Sydney, Hanna, and Jacob; 1 Greatgrand child, Lincoln; many nieces, nephews and friends.
A time for remembrance will be held 5p.m. Friday, June 23, 2023 at Ciriello and Carr Funeral Home, 39 S. Miller Rd. in Fairlawan, where friends my call 3p.m. until service time.
