It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Judith (Haas) Caetta, beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, aunt and dedicated professional, who passed away peacefully on December 22, 2024, at the age of 81.

Judy was born in Akron, Ohio to Henry and Anna Haas, both of whom preceded her in death. She was the loving mother to sons James and David and devoted grandmother to Chloe and Sophia and mother-in-law to Amy. Judy was also the sister of Richard (deceased) and Steve. Aunt to Rick, Mike, Allison, Crystal, Jessica, Patrick and Adam.

In addition to her role as a supportive family member, Judy had a 31 year career that started in San Diego, California as a respiratory therapist and ended at Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital, where her compassion, skill, and dedication impacted countless lives. She was a respected and caring professional, known for her commitment to patient well-being and her ability to bring comfort.

Judy’s work was not confined to healthcare alone. She also had role in a family-owned business. Her determination, and support helped guide the business over the years. Judy’s contributions were integral to its continued success, and the family legacy will live on as they celebrate their 65th anniversary. Judy’s legacy of resilience, devotion and hard work will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to Remembrance Hospice, particularly Julie and Gregory, for providing the highest level of care and support over the past months. Your compassion, expertise, and unwavering dedication made all the difference during such a difficult time.

Additionally, we would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our extended family members and friends who have been a constant source of love, strength and guidance. Your presence, support, and understanding have meant the world to us.

Mass of Christian Burial 11am Saturday December 28, 2024, where friends may call one hour prior to service time at St. Hillary Parish 2750 West Market Street Fairlawn, OH 44333.

Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
