Joe Metzger

Joe Metzger, 88, passed away November 21, 2021 after a short illness with dementia.

He graduated from St. Vincent High School and went to R.I.T. in Rochester, NY.

He leaves his wife, Nancy of 65 years; son, Scott; and daughter, Christine Metzger Goudy, 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Joe and his family did much traveling and camping-they saw the world. Joe would always say, “we had a blast.”

Joe spent his spare time from Metzger Photo Supply restoring antique cars, that is when Nancy didn't have another trip planned.

He will be a loss to all that knew him.

Private services will be held 1p.m. Wednesday at Ciriello and Carr Funeral Home, 39 S. Miller Rd in Fairlawn. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park.
