Jim lived a long life filled with many moments of love and family, and passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 23, 2021.

Jim also served in the Korean War as a 1st Lieutenant in the United States Army.  

Family, golf and going to the casino were some of his favorite pleasures.

Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Ann. 

Jim is survived by his children, John, Vicki, Peggy, Herman, James, Jeff (Jennifer), Roseann Richie and Betsy Lucas(Steve); grandchildren, Cory(Kim), Joshua, Annie, Betsy(Eric), Christopher and Morgan, as well as six great-grandchildren, Vincent, Kayla, Kendall,Bella, Bryce, and Brock.  

Calling hours 4-7pm Friday March 26th at Ciriello and Carr Funeral Home, 39 S. Miller Rd. in Fairlawn.

Mass of Christian Burial 10am Saturday March 27th at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul School, 15 N. Maple St. Akron, 44303 c\o Jim and Ann's Closet
