Her smile lit up the room, now her smile will light up the heavens. After an amazing 13-year battle with cancer, 42-year-old Jessica, joined her grandparents Joseph and Mary Shannon, Oscar and Ruby Smith in heaven.
 

Besides her beautiful smile, Jessica will be remembered for her devotion to family and friends, her thoughtfulness, kindness, and appreciation of others.
 

Jessica was born and raised in Akron, Ohio. She attended King Elementary, Litchfield Jr. High, Our Lady of the Elms High School, and the College of Wooster.
She worked at Shannon-Smith Consulting Services (administrate assistant) and Game Stop (key holder).
 

She is survived by her mother, Elaine Shannon-Smith; and father, Sam Smith; sister, Anja (Thomas) Stahl; brother, Ali AL Qahtani; husband, Doug Badger; son, David Smith; step-children, Brandon (Nicole Kilgore), Darin, Madison (Justin Cogan), Shawn;grandchild, Caleb; Comfort dog, Duncan.
Aunts and Uncles: Mary Jo Shannon-Slick, Cynthia (Nicholas) Nader, Judy (Don) Mervine, Dr. Anju Mader, Shirley (Smith) Barger & Debbie Smith, and many friends and extended family whose acts of kindness and love brought her great joy!

A special thanks to Dr. Erwin Maseelall, and all the Summa Oncology Doctors, Nurses and Hospice program.Game Stop (Broomfield, Ohio) who held her job and were so gracious to her during many rounds of treatments over 7 years.
 

Mass of Christian Burial 12p.m. Saturday, December 18 , 2021 at St. Hilary Catholic Church, 2705 W. Market St. in Fairlawn, where friends may call 10-12. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park.
