Jessica Leigh Allen

Jessica Leigh Allen went to be with God. She was blessed to begin her life at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. A proud military brat, she lived in Oklahoma, Alaska, Ohio, South Korea, and Colorado. Jessica attended Seoul American High School (Seoul, S. Korea) for two years then graduated from Liberty High School (Colorado Springs, Colorado ‘97). Proud Mountaineer, Jessica graduated from Western State Colorado University (Gunnison, Colorado ‘01) with a Bachelor of Arts degree and began her career as a project manager. Then through hard work and dedication, she earned her proud standing as a Network Engineer.

Jessica’s love to travel continued into adulthood. Both professionally and personally, she was blessed to travel internationally to Australia, Thailand, Japan, China, Singapore, South Korea, Mexico, and domestically to a great amount of the United States.

She was a member of Delta Sigma Pi - professional business fraternity, Immaculate Heart of Mary parish, Epilepsy Association, and Antiphospholipid Syndrome Foundation of America. Jessica volunteered at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Primary School, St. Vincent St. Mary High School, the pet shelter, and St. Hillary Parish.

Her favorite past time was supporting her daughter, nieces, and nephews at school activities, sports, and extracurricular activities. She was very proud to be the loudest and craziest fan -supporting family, friends, and the Denver Broncos. She had a deep love for animals, fish, amphibians, and bugs, but not spiders!

Jessica is survived by her beloved daughter, Lily, and son-in-law Donny; dad and mom, Donald and Deborah; birth mother, Betsey (Keane); brother and sister-in-law, Brian and Heather; sister, Emily; nieces, Justice and Harper; and nephews, Anthony, John, Jordan, and Brayden; great-niece Izzy, grandparents Dave and Pat Smith; and grandparents Dave (deceased) and Ellen Evans.

Jessica would like for her family and friends to be reminded of the simple words of Saint Mother Theresa, “Give of your hands to serve, and your hearts to love.”

Jessica requests that you remember and thank our service men and women in the military, police force, firefighter, EMS, and also their families. In lieu of flowers, please consider those less fortunate in our community. Consider paying your own blessings forward by donating your time, treasure, talent, and/or thanks to your local homelessness, church, animal shelter/rescue, children’s hospital, police officers, firefighters, military, EMS, and food banks.
