Jeanette (Sis) Ezzie

COPLEY - Jeanette (Sis) Ezzie passed away on November 11, 2022. The youngest of six children, Sis was born to Adam and Katherine (Kramer) Boss on November 22, 1940. She was very proud to have lived in Copley for most of her life; first on the family farm on Jacoby Rd. and for the past 56 years in the home she and her husband, Joe, built on Copley Rd. After graduating from Copley High School in

1958, she worked as an executive secretary at B.F. Goodrich, stayed home to care for her family, and then returned to secretarial work for several local businesses. She supported her husband’s career with the Copley Fire Dept. by actively participating in the CFD Ladies’ Auxiliary. Gardening and yard work were her favorite pastimes until her untimely stroke over 20 years ago. Sis was an avid fan of the Indians, Cavs, and Buckeyes.

Sis is survived by her husband of 60 years, Joe Ezzie; daughter and son in-law, Janel and Bruce Koellner; grandchildren, Kate (Taylor) Ferguson, Mitchell (Jenna) Koellner, and Seth Koellner. Her 3 great-grandchildren, Pratt & Kramer Ferguson and Emmy Koellner, brought her incredible joy. Also surviving are her sister, Carrie Arnold, brother Nelson (Judy) Boss, brother in-law George (Donna) Ezzie, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, in-laws; John and Julia Ezzie, siblings and their spouses;Julia (Addie) Bender, Bill (Carol) Boss, Edith (Wayne) Galloway, and brothers in-law Wayne Arnoldand Ralph Ezzie.

Calling hours 2-4p.m. Sunday, November 20, 2022 at Ciriello and Carr Funeral Home, 39 S. Miller Rd. in Fairlawn. Funeral services 10 a.m, Monday, November 21, 2022 at Our Lady of the Cedars Maronite Catholic Church in Fairlawn. Interment at Copley Cemetery.
