James Gaffga

James Gaffga, 65, passed away after a long illness on Saturday, September 10, 2022.

He was born November 27, 1956, in Barberton, Ohio to James and Norma Gaffga.

Survived by his parents; his daughter, Emily; his brother, Gary (Mary); sister, Marianne (George), and a niece and nephew. He graduated from Kenmore High School, as well as The University of Akron with a BS in Industrial Management. He was a supervisor of operations at O’Neils and Polsky’s before becoming an Akron City Police Officer. Jimmy loved his cars, his family, and a good meal shared with friends.

A graveside service will be held at Moore’s Chapel Cemetery at 1pm on Thursday, September 15th. Cemetery address is 1653 N Hametown Road, Akron OH 44333.
