Jacqueline L Surowicz

Jacqueline L. Surowicz, 60, of Medina, Ohio passed away peacefully in her home, Wednesday, July 23, 2025. She was born on May 19, 1965, to parents Jack H. Wheatley and Marlene D, Wheatley in Youngstown, Ohio.

Jackie, a graduate of Miami University, spent 34 years at First Energy working in a variety of system related leadership roles. Over the years she built a strong bond with many of her fellow teammates.

Jackie an avid reader and pet lover, enjoyed tennis, Disney, crafting, and most of all loved being a soccer mom. She loved celebrating the holidays with family, especially Christmas.

She is survived by her husband Rick and her two boys Nicholas and Matthew. She was preceded in death by her parents Jack H. Wheatley and Marlene D. Wheatley.

Calling hours will be on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, 5pm–7pm at Ciriello & Carr Funeral Home, 39 S. Miller Rd Fairlawn, OH 44333. Please dress casual.
