Hugh Bartlett Jr.

Hugh Bartlett Jr, 88, passed away June 2, 2025, after a long battle with dementia.

Hugh was born May 6, 1937, in Jane Lew West Virginia. Graduated from Garfield High School in1955 and achieved is MBA from the University of Akron. Her retired from Air Craft Braking system in 2000 after 43 years of service. He was very involved with Immaculate Heart of Mary Church as an usher, Eucharistic Minister, and a member of Knights of Columbus.

Hugh was always focused on Faith, Family, Education, Athletics & Music. He also had a passion for wood working and model trains. It gave him great joy later in life watching over his grandchildren & great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by parents Hugh & Lola, siblings John & Anita Kay, & son Jimmy.

Hugh is survived by his wife of 68 years, Midge, brother David (Nancy) Bartlett, daughters Diane (Jeff) Marks, Jean Ann (Terry) Manns, Patty (Scott Adams) & sons Hugh (Darlene) Bartlett III, Jeff, Gary, Steve (Shari Lee), along with 12 grandchildren &13 great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 10:30am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 1905 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223 where friends may call one hour prior to the mass.

Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
