Helen M. ((Kovacs)) DiGiammarino

Together Again.

Helen M. (Kovacs) DiGiammarino, born on November 24, 1936, in Akron, Ohio, passed
away peacefully at home on June 27, 2025. She was 88 years old.

Helen was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Joseph DiGiammarino,
as well as her brothers George Kovacs and Edward Kovacs and many other loved ones.

She is lovingly remembered by her son Jon DiGiammarino, her daughter Debbie
DiGiammarino Dearth, her siblings Paul Herrick, Michael Herrick, Raymond Herrick and his
wife Kathy, John Herrick and his wife Julie, Marianne Freymoyer and her husband Jerry, as
well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

Helen retired from the Police Credit Union in 1995. She loved to play penny poker, Tripoli,
Farkle, Yatzee and Cribbage. She loved to cook big meals for family and friends and bake
dozens of cookies to give away at Christmas time.

May Helen’s memory bring comfort to those who knew her and loved her.

Calling hours will be held on July 2, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Ciriello & Carr Funeral
Home, located at 810 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. A private burial service will
be held at Holy Cross Cemetery on July 3, 2025, at 11:00 AM.
