Greta Steeg

Greta A. Steeg (89) passed away Friday, August 23, 2024.

Great was a long-time resident of Bath Twp., Ohio where she was a legal secretary for many years before retiring to be with her husband Ronald Sr.  She was a member of Bath United Church of Christ and loved cross-stitching and knitting  items for her family.

While we would hear stories of racing cars in Barberton, Ohio in her youth, she will be remembered for her devotion to family, zest for life and a wonderful sense of humor.

She was preceded in death by husband Ronald Sr. and daughter Cathy Patterson.

She is survived by daughter Jeannette Powell; sons Ronald Jr. (Andrea) and Eric (Rachael Hinton);8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren as well as countless extended family and friends.

Services will be at Moore’s Chapel in Bath, Ohio on Thursday, September 5th at 1pm followed by a celebration of life at her home.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Bath United Church of Christ would be appreciated.
