Gregory Lynn Canter, 74, passed suddenly in his childhood home on November 5, 2022. 

Gregory was born October 12, 1948 to Mary Boesiger and Gilbert Canter in Akron, Ohio.  He graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1966. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1967-1973 as a radar mechanic and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal.  Gregory was an intelligent man with a great sense of humor.  He had an entrepreneurial spirit and loved playing the guitar.  

Gregory is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Boesiger; father, William Boesiger; and brother, Richard “Buddy” Canter.  

He is survived by brothers, Gary Canter and Fred Boesiger; former spouse, Mary Dula; and 4 children, Angela, Todd (Tammy), Tim (Nicole) and Sarah; former spouse, Carolyn Canter; and grandchildren,

Taylor (Nic), Nathan, Riley, Natalie, Bradyn, Sean, Andrew, Nicholas, Rylan, Audrey, Pierson, Chase Jr and Andrew

There will be a short funeral service, with military honors, at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawig Rd. Seville, OH 44273 at 2:15 pm
