Frances Sullivan

Frances Sullivan, 87, passed away November 15, 2023.

Fran was born in 1936 in Scranton, Pennsylvania and was salutatorian of her high school class. She married her high school sweetheart, Jack, who passed away in 2016. Fran was a member of St. Hilary Parish in Fairlawn, Ohio and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was very proud of earning her BA in English Literature from Kent State University at the age of 51.

She is survived by her children, John (Cindy) Sullivan of Akron, Neil (Rhonda) Sullivan of Lutz, Fla., Mary Kay (Steve) Hannah of Silver Lake, and Kelly (Michael) Weissfeld of Bath; grandchildren, Patrick (Linsley) Hannah, Carli (Donny) Harrigan, Jazz Hannah, Megan (Jeff) Spatola, Nora (Jessica Chin) Sullivan, Dan Sullivan, Abby (fiancé Aaron Gates) and Eddie Weissfeld, great-grandchildren, Brie, Zach, and Scarlet Harrigan and Aurora Hannah.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 16 at 9:30 am at St. Hilary Church in Fairlawn, where family and friends may visit 9-9:30am.

Private interment to be at Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date.

Memorials may be directed to Northeast Ohio Hospice or The Village of St. Edward Foundation.
