Frances Jean Lipari

Frances “Fran” Lipari (nee Kluska), age 95, passed away peacefully at her home in Copley, Ohio on Sunday, October 29, 2023.

Born in Smock, Pennsylvania in 1928 to her parents Joseph and Mary (nee Brnak) Kluska, she graduated from Uniontown High School class of 1946. After working in Cleveland and Akron, she became a longtime resident of the Akron area. She was a member of the Christ Child Society, and a member of Saint Vincent’s and Guardian Angels Catholic Churches.

Fran took great pride in raising her four sons and maintaining the loving environment that she and her husband Mel had built together. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought so much joy to her life. She taught them how to cook family recipes, played games, hosted holiday gatherings and share unconditional love. She enjoyed dancing with her husband, spending winters in Florida and visiting her family.

She was preceded in death by Carmelo “Mel”, her beloved husband of 67 years, her siblings Ann Hudik, Mary Shaw, Rose Mills, John Kluska, Joe Kluska, Frank Kluska, and Tom Kluska.

Fran is survived by her four sons, Mark (Cyndie), David (Sandra), Tim (Cathy) and Chris; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Bernadine Pescho and Margaret Yonchak.

Mass of Christian Burial 11am Saturday, November 4th at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 1676 South Cleveland-Massillon Rd. in Copley, where friends may call 10-11am.

Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
