She was a down-home farm girl, fabulous cook and hostess, engaging, larger than life, fierce and strong. To her friends she was generous, loving, vivacious, loyal and fun. Special acknowledgement to the Golden Girls and her friends in Ohio and Florida who meant so much to her.
“Friends are flowers in the garden of life… I am so blessed with many wonderful friends. They have created beautiful gardens for me to wander and spend my time in with them.”
In lieu of flowers and if you are so inclined, plant a flower in your garden in her memory.
Private services for her family were held October 10th. Memorial will be held at Portage Country Club on December 7, 2pm.
