Eileen Shane

January 27, 1930 - December 13, 2020 

Eileen Shane, 90, of Richmond Heights, passed away unexpectedly December 13, 2020.  She was the daughter of the late Samuel and Mary (Oster) Kleinman, and sister of the late Sylvia Kaden.  Preceded in death by life partner, Richard Wadd; and former husband, Ben Shane.  

Survived by children, Kenneth Shane (Karen), Karen Shane (of Miami, FL), David Reiter (Cherie) (of Brisbane, Australia) and Roger Berman.  She was a loving aunt, proud grandmother and great-grandmother.  She was a lover of nature, animals and all living things. She taught ballroom dance for many years at Arthur Murray Dance Studio and later went into the hearing aid business. She was an ASPCA Guardian and spent the last 20 years of her life caring for her rescued cats.

There will be a private gathering (due to COVID restrictions) at Rose Hill Burial Park in Fairlawn, but will be live-streamed on Tuesday, December 22nd at 3pm on Zoom.
