Edith (Fana) Olex

Edith Fana Olex, died on May 30, 2024. She was born on October 26, 1923, in Bellaire, Ohio to Pasquale Fana and Marie Olivieri. She married Thomas Olex in 1948 and resided in Moundsville, WV for 15 years. She was a resident of Cuyahoga Falls for the past 61 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, stepfather, Luigi Tellitocci; sisters Donnina Fana (died in infancy), Rita Fana Shafer and Virginia Fana Garton; brothers, Vincent Fana (died in infancy), Armand Fana, Colombo Tellitocci, Joseph Tellitocci and Alfred Tellitocci.

She is survived by daughters, Tomi Ann Olex, Kathleen Marie Olex and Cynthia Frances Olex Portteus (Andre); her grandsons, Kevin (Becca) Portteus and Thomas (Miranda) Portteus; her great-grandchildren, Alexander, Nathaniel, Elizabeth, Joshua, Elijah and Caroline. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, special niece, Lorraine Fana Wake, and many cousins in Italy.

There are no calling hours. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery in Moundsville, West Virginia.
