Dr. Bart A. DiLiddo

Dr. Bart A. DiLiddo (Dr. D),92, passed away on Friday, September 1, 2023. Tireless in spirit and forever brilliant, Dr. DiLiddo touched many lives by teaching, mentoring, and sharing wisdom with all who were willing to learn. He will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved him.

Dr. D, as he was affectionately called by many, was in his element when he was problem solving, entertaining friends and family, golfing, gardening or playing cards. He was passionate about family, learning, good food, a great lawn and beautiful flowers.

Dr. D accomplished so much in his life, retiring at age 55 from a successful 30-year career at BF Goodrich, during which he also taught himself to invest in the stock market by creating a system of stock analysis based on vector formulae. A few years after retirement, he formed his own company and is responsible for teaching hundreds of thousands of investors how to make money in the stock market with his creation, VectorVest.

He also kept his home and heart full of fun and love for his family and friends and was affectionately known as “the fun uncle.”

Bart was preceded in death by his loving wife, Roseann Canaly; his son, David his father, Donato; mother, Lucia; brothers, Andrew and Vito; sisters, Mary, Lecretia and Antoinette. He is survived by his daughter, Kara Payton (Don), and his two lovely granddaughters, Abbey and Hannah.

Dr. D possessed a spirit that did not age and he will be most remembered for his laugh and ambition.

Calling hours 4-7 Friday at Ciriello and Carr Funeral Home, 39 S. Miller Rd. in Fairlawn. Mass of Christian Burial 10a.m. Saturday at St. Hilary Catholic Church, 2750 W. Market St. Fairlawn, OH 44333, PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Brookpark.
