Dorothy Ann ((McBride)) Zampelli
Obituary
Dorothy Ann (McBride) Zampelli, also affectionately known as Doe, passed away April 21, 2022. She was the youngest of four children born to Dennis and Myrtle McBride.
She attended Saint Vincent elementary and high schools and graduated from Saint Thomas School of Nursing in 1953.
Mom was extremely proud of her Irish heritage. She is now reunited in Christ with her loving husband and best friend Michael, daughter Melissa, along with her brother and sisters. She is survived by daughters Denise (Gene) Briers, Michele (Mario) Mattioli and son Michael (Janet); sister in-law Addie Zampelli; grandchildren Zachary, Larissa and Anthony; great-grandchildren Hudson, Kannon and Summit.
Thank you to the special relatives, friends and neighbors were so willing to help our Mom with rides, meals and companionship throughout the years.
Calling hours will be on Monday, April 25, 5PM to 7PM at Ciriello & Carr Funeral Home, 810 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 11AM at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 300 E. Tallmadge Ave., Akron, OH 44310. Please meet at Church.
Interment Oakwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Blessed Trinity Catholic Church.
