Donna Lea Dietz 1934-2026

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved mother Donna Lea Dietz (Kennedy) who peacefully left us on May 18, 2026 at the age of 91. Donna was born in East Hickory, Pennsylvania on November 29, 1934 to Edward Kennedy and Florence Kennedy (Clark).

She was devoted wife to Wilfred C. Dietz (deceased), mother to Steven C. Dietz, Cynthia L. Archer (deceased), Timothy L. Dietz, Michael A. Dietz and Kimberly A. Emahiser. She had 7 grandchildren and 9 great grand children. She also leaves her life-long friend and devoted sister in law Betty L. Ditz of Stow, Ohio.

She married Wilfred Dietz in the early 1950's. Wilfred was in the Army during the Korean Conflict. After his service they moved to Ohio where he started a successful construction business. They had five children.

A life-long resident of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; Donna often received city recognition and gardening awards for her beautiful home flower displays.

Donna worked in the restaurant business at the Cathedral of Tomorrow and later at Goodyear for many years.

She loved reading and has an extensive home library. She was a great cook and was especially known for her home-made pies. She was a devout Catholic and attended Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Cuyahoga Falls. All of her children attended elementary school at Immaculate Heart.

She always had a kind word for everyone she met. She had special love for children, A great sense of humor which endeared her to everyone she came into contact with. She formed many long lasting friendships over the years. Even in her late years she was the first one to help neighbors in need.

She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, purpose, admiration and love for all to emulate. She will be greatly missed and can never be replaced.

In accordance with Donna's wishes, the family will hold a private service. We appreciate your love and support at this difficult time.
