Donald "Don" W. Morgan, Jr.

Donald "Don" W. Morgan Jr., 73 of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, passed away suddenly on November 14, 2021, at his home.

Don was born in Cuyahoga Falls to the late Donald Sr. and Annabelle (Kane) Morgan. He graduated from Akron North High School, Class of 1966. After high school, Don began his military service as a clerk. This was followed by service at the Pentagon as a Secretary to General Westmoreland during the Vietnam War. Don received a National Defense Service Medal and was an expert rifleman. He took great pride in his military service. Don retired from Gojo Industries in 2015.

Don had a charming personality with a broad smile and an infectious laugh. He always left others feeling loved and appreciated. He loved writing, music and made charitable contributions to several family based organizations. He was a man deep in faith, love of country and pride in his family. He will be forever missed.

Don was preceded in death by his father, Donald Sr.; mother, Annabelle; sister, Connie and former spouse Sharon Morgan.

He is survived by his sons, Donald (Lori) Morgan III and Brian (Kelly) Morgan; step-children, John (Traci) Badock and Yvonne (Joseph) Kelley; three grandsons, Hayden, Griffin and Gavin; siblings Larry (Alice) Morgan, Diane (John Kittel) Tesch, Debbie (Kris) Holzopfel, Rick Morgan; nieces/nephews, Matt, Holly, Abby, Julie and Audrey.

Private services for the family will be held 1pm Friday at Ciriello and Carr Funeral Home, 810 Portage Tr. in Cuyahoga Falls, where family may call 11-1. Please wear a mask and observe COVID protocols. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery.
